This was a six week - in class project (Introduction to Unity). I worked with one friend to build this.Â
Had to solve the issue of handling a procedural, overlapping, recursive space.
Implemented UI and interaction system
Designed the visual layout and made prefabs for rooms and song consoles.
Created the shield wall shader.
Worked with partner to repurpose Spotify4Unity package to work with our implementation.

This project uses the recommendation portion of Spotify's API to procedurally generate a space that holds a web of related music. My partner and I worked very closely throughout the entire development process to solve design issues, implement the API, and create the virtual space. For this project, I wanted to create a space that responds to the type of music the player likes. Players can preview and listen through through songs recommended by their previous choices to physically explore a soundscape. Due to the time constraints, we were unable to implement all of our ideas, but the next step was to generate a playlist based on the player's choices that remains in their Spotify library to revisit.
